We would like to share with you the project for the implementation of network services in the IE Tower.

Our Networking and Infrastructure Team together with Arista Networks Inc. are working on it. Arista Networks is an American company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and is an industry leader in cognitive cloud networking solutions for large data center and campus environments.

Arista Networks stands out for its innovations in wired and wireless networking: its next-generation, analytics-driven approach with AI in order to deliver advanced security, visibility and location-based services to optimize the customer experience in the cloud.

As part of this, Arista is focusing on the Unified Edge, a consistent experience for network operators, end users and IoT devices across the wired and wireless network; and extending to new mobile remote workplaces, such as a teleworker's home, temporary workspaces or a remote branch office.
Some featured customers who trust Arista Networks include Microsoft, Dell, NEC, BBC, ING, Samsung, or IG Group; and from the education sector, the Universities of Cornell, Waikato, Pisa, Winchester, Alfonso X El Sabio or Walsh.

In the end, we are implementing in the IE Tower the next-generation workstations and WiFi using SDN (Software Defined Networking) architectures, with the aim of facilitating the deployment of networks in a secure, dynamic and scalable way.

This challenging project is becoming true thanks to our Networking and Infrastructure Team, led by Carlos González, with Alberto Moreno, Alberto Santos and Carlos Blázquez.

IE Meta XR Day was an incredible event showcasing the latest innovations in immersive technologies for education and work. The day was packed with informative talks, captivating demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to connect with XR experts and enthusiasts.
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dom Barnard, co-founder of VirtualSpeech, to IE University. Dom spoke about the transformative role of AI-powered VR training in higher education, learning and development, and the future of work.
We are delighted to share with you the news that IE University was recently recognized for its digital transformation efforts in the education sector at an event organized by Econocom Services.
