IE University has been awarded by IDC thanks to its Covid Tracer app

We are very happy to inform you that today in the IDC CIO Summit 2021, our CIO Carlos Garriga has received this recognition for the Covid Tracer app as the best project in the category of "Workplace and Customer Experience Transformation".

IE University has been awarded by IDC thanks to its Covid Tracer app

This award recognizes the effort IE University has made since the beginning of the pandemic in order to protect the health of the entire IE Community and to guarantee academic activity. And in particular, the work of the IT Team in the development of the Covid Tracer app which, as you know, offers the possibility for the entire IE Community to monitor their health status on a daily basis, and this status is reflected in the IE Health Digital Passport.

We would like to highlight the participation in this project of our colleagues Ángel Javier Ripa, Juan Antonio Aparicio, Krastin Radulov, Manuel López, Miguel Angel Tejero, Noemí Sánchez García and Rafael González, and especially Ana Gutiérrez and Idoia Osuna, who have managed the project.
