IE most valuable asset is data; therefore, the Data Office has to take care of the utilization and governance of data across the organization. We oversee a range of data-related functions with the objective of using data to drive business outcomes.
HOW?
Our data strategy is focused in data management, data quality, data architecture, data analytics, business intelligence and creating a data strategy. We rely on different technologies to support our processes such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, SQL Server, Google Cloud, etc.
WHAT?
Our Area is divided in 3 main units:
- Data Architecture & Engineering: Implement the tools and systems we need to transform, aggregate and normalize large amounts of data.
- Business Intelligence: Develop the reports and dashboards so the business can analyze, get insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Data Analytics: Develop and implement data science projects for both academic and commercial purposes including machine learning projects.
