COVID-19 Tracer ready for all health protocols for the academic year 2021-22

Since the beginning of the pandemic, IE University has promoted an action plan with the aim of protecting the health of the IE Community and guaranteeing academic activity. As part of this plan, in May 2020 we launched the COVID-19 Tracer Web App so that the IE Community could monitor their health status on a daily basis and this status would be reflected in the IE Health Digital Passport. This passport is synchronised with the access control to the facilities, which guarantees the best health conditions for all those who access them.

Some achievements during this time are:

  • 13,200 medical records: the application has enabled IE medical team to monitor health status at any given moment and according to the epidemiological situation.
  • 55,700 diagnostic tests in IE infirmaries, with the corresponding medical certificates issued.
  • 1,158 vaccination certificates: they have been uploaded calculating the date of immunity according to the vaccine manufacturer.
  • Development of an appointment booking management system for diagnostic tests, allowing the management of the six agendas of the IE University infirmaries (IE Tower, Pinar 18 and Segovia).
  • 28 uploads to production, including all updates to the app that the IE medical team has considered necessary according to the epidemiological situation and current health regulations.

Nowadays, we can confirm that COVID-19 Tracer is adapted to all health protocols for the new academic year 2021-22.
